In his church, Lat ter-day Saints, he was Stake President 20years. At age 57 he decided t o dispose of his Idaho holdings and move his family to Phoenix, AZ. In A Z his buisness was confined to savings and loan industry. He and his son s built Western Savings & Loan Association into Arizona's largest such fi nancial institution.
