BURLEY-Thomas E. Walton, 93, Burley died Tuesday at Minidoka Memor ial Hospital. Born
Feb. 27, 1882 at Bellevue, he moved to Albion with his family in 1 884. In 1895 he worked on a
dredge boat on the Snake River. In 1909 he homesteaded at Little F all Creek near American Falls.
He married Marjorie Redner in Rupert in 1917. They moved to Shosh one where Mr. Walton
worked for the Bureau of Reclamation for several years.
In 1943 they moved to Pocatello where he worked for the railroa d until his retirement in 1954. At
that time, they moved to Burley.
Mr. Walton attended the Methodist church and was a member of th e Shoshone Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Burley, one son, Lee Walton, Rupert; thre e grandchildren and four great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm Thursday at Joseph Payne Memoria l Chapel by Rev. Stanley
Andrews. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
Friends may call at the mortuary this afternoon and evening and pr ior to services on Thursday.
