The place of marriage was probably Michigan where they were living in 184 2 and 1844.

The family record lited Lucy Ann Lord and Anson Pratt as being married 2 6 May 1849 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Lucy Ann Lord was born on 28 June 1820 in Cazenovia, Madison, New York, USA. She died on 21 February 1849 at the age of 28 in St. Joseph, Buchanan, Missouri, USA. Anson's wife, Sally, had died in December 1841, just a month after Charit y [Anson's mother] had moved to Nauvoo [from Detroit where she was livin g with Anson's family]. Anson married again, to Lucy Ann Lord, and the y moved to Illinois, where Anson managed Parley's farm while Parley was o n his mission.
