letter dated June 10, 2002. Robert's mother and sister also died from
it. His younger brother now in his late 40's or early 50's is showing
the first signs of the disease. Research is being done, but so far no
cure has been discovered. They say it is a 50 % chance that the children
will not get the disease. Bob and Marcia were unaware when they had
children that the disease was genetic and could be passed on. Living (private). According to Marcia Kirschner, her mother, Lori currently lives in
Redondo Beach, California.
According to John Kirschner in a letter dated June 10, 2002: "Lori Co pe
has not been doing very well, Lori is now under Hospice care and expe cted
to die in a short time. Lori is 45 years old, has Huntington Diseas e and
been in convalescent hospitals since her teenage years. This diseas e is
pure torture in its later stages and it will be a blessing when death
occurs. Lori's father Bob died from it as well as his mother and a
sister. Bob's younger brother now in his late 40's or early 50's is
showing the first signs of the disease. Research is being done but so
far no cure has been discovered."
According to John Kirschner in a letter dated June 29, 2002: "Lori Co pe,
Marcia's daughter, died June 18, 2002 and has finally found peace aft er
years of torture due to Huntington Disease.
Lori was 45 years old (Dec. 18, 1956-June 18, 2002). She died under
Hospice care at Henderson Convalescent Hospital, Henderson, Nevada an d
was buried at Boulder City Cemetery on June 21, 2002 (Lot 13, Block 2 11)."

"Lori Lynn Cope, 45, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002 in Henderson.
Born Dec. 18, 1956 in California, she was a resident of Boulder City.
She is survived by her mother, Marcia Kirschner of Boulder City; and
a sister, Cherine Cope of Las Vegas. Visitation and services were h eld. Interment is at Boulder City
