"Mrs. Laura Amanda Barton, 73, of 4248 North Palm Avenue died last nigh t in a local hospital. A native of Dublin, Contra Costa County, Mrs. Bar ton had lived most of her life in Oakland. She moved to Fresno a year ag o. Her husband F. Eugene Barton died in 1945 [Note: Calif death record s have the date as 1944]. Mrs. Barton is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lo uise Barton Myers of Fresno; a brother, Victor S. Rasmussen of Fremont, a lameda County; a sister, Mrs. Jack Cope of San Francisco, and three grand children. Funeral services will be announced by the Lisle Funeral Home."
