She was also known as Bina. >1930 US census: Bina (apparently short for Savina) is a widow living i n Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio. Her children, Russel H. (age 24) , and Hazel E. (age 15) are living with her. Both are single.

>1880 US Census of Monroe, Allen County, Ohio has her name as Savina Holm es, born in Ohio, age 5. The parents are John and Harriet which is corre ct. Since her age and parents are the same, this must be the right perso n. Her grandmother's first name was Sabina Hillis. She could have bee n named after her and called Bina, or her name could have actually been B ina. This 1880 census is the only record I have found that gives her nam e as Savina.

(it is possible that one of those names is her maiden name and the oth er is her married name by a prior marriage). This record also gives hi s father's first name as Edmond, not Elmer. Edwin's parents were livin g in Reed, Ohio at the time of the birth.

>Obituary: "Olga Elizabeth Pratt, second daughter of Elmer N. and Bina P ratt, was born in Reed Township, Seneca County, Ohio, June 3, 1908 and di ed July 23, 1924, aged 16 years, 1 month adn 20 days.In 1920, she, with h er mother, two sisters and a brother, moved near Attica, after which sh e became a pupil in the Attica High School, and was a member o f the clas s of 1925. She was a member of the Universalists Sunday School of Attica , and was one fo our best christian girls. While in bathing at Locust Poi nt, a few hours before her death she remarked that she wouldn't be afrai d to die because her conscience was clear. She was preceded to the grea t beyond by her father and two brothers and leaves to morn her departure , her mother, two sisters, and one brother and a host of relatives and fr iends. Funeral in the Universalist Church. Interment in Omar Cemetery."
