Obituary: (this was sent to me from Fort Vancouver Regional Library District). (http://www.fvrl.org/findinfo/asklib.cfm). I could not read the name of the newspaper nor the date of the paper. It appears to be dated 5/9/1995. It does not give her husband's first name, nor does it list her parents or any children.This is the entire obituary:
"Genevieve Valerio - Recititation of the rosary will begin at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church for Genevieve Valerio, who died Sunday, May 7, 1995, at her home. She was 81. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 12:10 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Valerio was born Aug. 6. 1913, in Rockland, Idaho, and had lived in Clark County five years. She had a master's degree in music and taught music for a year at the state universities in Moscow, Idaho, and Boise, Idaho. Mrs. Valerio served with the Dominican Sisters at Cattle Falls, Wash., before earning a teaching degree. She taught in Omak, until retiring. Survivors include one brother, Floyd E. Anderson of Boise; and one sister, Gail Anderson of Vancouver. Memorial Contributions may bemade to t he Jusuit Mission, Oregon Province of the Society of Jesus, 2222 N.W. Hoyt St., Portland, OR 97208-4403."
