Born March 22, 1909, Salt Lake City, Utah to Lucille Case Pratt and Cherster Caine Pratt. Married Georgia Doxey, June 19, 1930, Salt Lkae City. They have been together and enjoyed each other for 56 wonderful years. He was a loyal and respected employee of Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company for 46 years and a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, retiring in 1974. (personal items omitted) Survived by wife; three sons and daughters-in-law; topm D. and Josephine Pratt, Salt Lake City; Joel D. and Jeannine Pratt, Manti, Utah; randall D. & susan Pratt, San Diego, California; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren whom he adored; sister, Mrs. Lee (Helen P.) Davey, Alabama; brother, Robert C. Pratt, Salt Lake City. Also survived by many dear sister-in-law and brothers-in-law. Predeceed in death in 1973 by eldest son, James D. Pratt, and a brother, Arthur Pratt.
