There are 14 marriage certificates in a row that were not completed. The certificate stub which is filled in when the certificate was applied for has the date of March 13, 1866. That is the day they applied for the certificate. Since the certificate was never filled in, we do not know the date of the marriage. It would probably have been just a few days later. His occupation is a shipping clerk, gas engines. >1946 (age 64) living in Beloit, Rock County, Wisconsin. Per a newspaper article in the "Waukesha Daily Freeman" newspaper, May 27, 1946, p. 10. All the article says about him is that he was from Beloit and was driving a car that was sideswiped by another car. The driver of the other car had his arm torn off. >1961 died (age 80). Beloit, Rock Co., Wisc. Death certificate says he was born in Omar, Seneca Co., Ohio. (Omar is now Attica). It Says that he was never married. His Social Security number was 396-07-1641. Informant of death was Mrs. Harold Gleason. Zetus was never in the armed service. His mother was Aurilla Pratt. Father unknown on the death cert. Burial was by Schoenfeld Funeral Home in Beloit, Wisc. >Death notice in The Beloit Daily News October 28, 1961 Zetus Bowen, 80, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Blair House Nursing Home after a long illness. Arrangments are being made by the Schoenfeld Funeral Home. >He was buried in the Eastlawn Cemetery, Beloit, Ohio. He is buried next to his mother and 3 siblings. His headstone reads: "Zetus E.
