Obituary: American Falls Gladys Lillian Sanderson, 86, died at her home in American Falls Saturday following an illness. She was born Oct. 5, 1896 in Rockland to Cyrus and Abbigale Tyler Warner. She was reared in Rockland and educated in Rockland and American Falls schools. In 1914, she married William Abercrombie; they were later divorced. She worked for several years in restaurants in American Falls. On March 26, 1927 she married J.W. "Sandy" Sanderson. The couple maintained a home in American Falls while they traveled and lived in other Idaho communities following his job in the trucking industry. She was a member of the War Mothers and the LDS church. Gardening was one of her main interests. Survivors include her husband, American Falls; a son, Edman "Dugie" Abercrombie,Pocatello; and a grandchild.(Danny) Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday at the LDS Stake Center with Bishop Arthur Meadows officiating. Friends may call at the Davis Mortuary today from noon to 5pm. On Tuesday friends may call from 8 to 11 am and then at the Relief Society room of the church from 1pm until service time.
