Louis Dermont Roberts was born on 17 Sep 1889 in Mancos, Montezuma, Colorado. He was baptized into the LDS Church on 7 Jul 1898. He was endowed on 17 Jan 1913 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He died on 7 Jun 1975 in Roosevelt, Duchesne, Utah. He was buried on 11 Jun 1975 in Vernal, Uintah, Utah. His Ancestral File Number is 1NHV-1P. SEALED TO MARGARET LARDALE 12 JULY 1932 BY PROXY Margaret Was a young
woman he met while on his mission. She was from North Dakota. Louis
was brought home a few months early because of the seriouse illness of
Clark Roberts. A nephew his own age who had come to live with them on the
death of his father, Howard Roberts. They became engaged by letter and
Louis went to be married. While he was on the train Margaret took sick and
died.
I have great admiration for Louise who not only consented but was proxy
for the sealing.
